Vash syn i brat is a 1965 Soviet drama film, directed by Vasily Shukshin. The movie is based on Vasily Shukshin's short stories "Styopka" (Стёпка), Ignat Has Arrived (Игнат приехал) and Snake Poison (Змеиный яд).
