Waga Koi wa Moenu is a 1949 Japanese romance drama film directed by Kenji Mizoguchi. The story revolves around one woman's fight for women's rights in 1880s Japan. The woman and her lover are falsely imprisoned for arson but eventually pardoned and together they again take up the cause.
