The Unknown Purple (1923)
The Unknown Purple (1923) is a science fiction silent film, written and directed by Roland West, based on the play of the same name by West and Carlyle Moore, with adaptation by Paul Schofield. The film may be the first dealing with the subject of invisibility and might have been based upon the novel The Invisible Man by H. G. Wells.
