The Oyster Princess (1919)
The Oyster Princess is a 1919 German silent film directed by Ernst Lubitsch. It is a grotesque comedy in 4 acts about an American millionaire’s spoiled daughter’s marriage that just doesn’t go as planned. The film earned fame from his intangible use of style and sophistication in this movie among others. The term for his style was later dubbed "The Lubitsch Touch".
