The Lion's Busy (1950)

The Lion's Busy is a seven-minute Looney Tunes cartoon released in 1950, written by Tedd Pierce and directed by Friz Freleng. It features Leo the Lion (who previously appeared in The Lyin' Mouse (1937), Hold The Lion, Please (1942) and Acrobatty Bunny (1946)) and Beaky Buzzard (both voiced by Mel Blanc). This is Beaky Buzzard's first cartoon since The Bashful Buzzard (1945) due to Bob Clampett's departure from Warner Bros. in 1946. This cartoon is the first time Blanc voices Beaky due to Kent Rogers' death in 1944, and the final appearance of Leo the Lion from Looney Tunes cartoons until Tweety's High-Flying Adventure in 2000.
