The Connected Baby (2011)

the connected baby is a film by Dr Suzanne Zeedyk, co-produced with Jonathan Robertson, was funded initially by the British Psychological Society. It demonstrates babies' innate emotional connectedness to other people. The film premiered at the Dundee Contemporary Arts centre on 25 July 2011 and was featured as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival in October 2011. In November 2011, it premiered in New York at the newly created Museum of Motherhood and premiered December 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Since then it has been screened at Holyrood (the Scottish Parliament) and Stormont (the Northern Ireland Assembly) as well as many venues for public and private showings to early years professionals, educational psychologists, local government departments and as a training/research tool to practitioners in child care, social services, health and education.
