The Climbers (1927)
The Climbers is a lost 1927 silent film produced and distributed by Warner Brothers. The film stars Irene Rich and was directed by Paul Stein. It is based on a 1901 Clyde Fitch play The Climbers, which had starred Amelia Bingham and Clara Bloodgood. Bingham had produced the play version, a rarity for Edwardian-era women. Previous versions of Fitch's play had been made in 1915 as The Climbers with Gladys Hanson and also in 1919 again as The Climbers with Corinne Griffith.
