The Boy with the Cuckoo-Clock Heart (2013)
The Boy with the Cuckoo-Clock Heart (; lit: The Mechanic of the Heart) is a French animated feature film based on the concept album, La Mécanique du Cœur, and the illustrated novel, La Mécanique du cœur. The album has been published by French rock band Dionysos and the book's author is their lead singer Mathias Malzieu. The directors are Stéphane Berla, the director of the band's previous video clips and Mathias Malzieu. The film was originally set to be released on 17 October 2012 in France; however, the film's release date was evidently delayed until October 2013 for unexplained reasons. The main reason of the delay is the bankruptcy of the French studio Duran Duboi (from Quinta group) which was in charge of the fabrication of the animation.
