Thanga Pathakkam (1974)
Thanga Pathakkam (English: Gold Medal) is a 1974 Tamil film directed by P. Madhavan and written by Mahendran. Produced by Shanthi Narayanaswamy and T. Manohar, the film stars Sivaji Ganesan, K. R. Vijaya, and Shrikanth in the lead roles, while Major Sundararajan and Cho Ramaswamy play supporting roles. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan. The film was a blockbuster and completed a 182-day run at the box office. It was also dubbed in Telugu, which was also successful. The film was also remade in Hindi as Gold Medal. Thangapadhakkam was a huge commercial success
