Tea in the Harem (1985)
Tea in the Harem was a book written by Mehdi Charef, first published in 1983. In 1985 Charef also directed the film adaptation of the book. It was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1985 Cannes Film Festival. The film won the Prix Jean Vigo in 1985.
