Spartacus and the Ten Gladiators (1964)

Spartacus and the Ten Gladiators or Gli invincibili dieci gladiatori was a 1964 Italian, French and Spanish international co-production sword and sandal film directed by Nick Nostro and co written by Nostro, Alfonso Balcázar and Sergio Sollima. It is the second of the three Ten Gladiators film series trilogy starring Dan Vadis. Filmed in Technicolor and Techniscope, the film features a variety of footage from other peplum films including Quo Vadis. The English credits of the film gave several of the Itallian actors English surnames familiar in historical epic films such as "John Heston" (Ivano Staccioli) and "Alan Lancaster" (Aldo Canti).
