Queen (2014)
Queen is a 2014 Indian comedy-drama film by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Phantom Films. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film stars Kangana Ranaut, Lisa Haydon and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles. The film’s story is about a naive middleclass girl in Rajouri Garden, Delhi, who decides to go on her honeymoon to Paris and Amsterdam alone, after her fiancé walks out of the marriage two days before wedding. Amit Trivedi has scored the film’s music for the lyrics by Anvita Dutt. The film premiered at Busan International Film Festival in October 2013, and released worldwide in 800 Screens on 7 March 2014 to critical acclaim. The movie also emerged a major commercial success, becoming the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all-time in the month of March and the most profitable movie of 2014 and is currently the fourth-highestgrossing Bollywood film of 2014.
