Mr. Bharath is a Tamil film is directed by SP. Muthuraman. The film stars Rajnikant, Sathyaraj, Ambika, Goundamani, S. V. Shekhar and others. The plot is about a son's revenge against his father. It is a remake of the 1978 Hindi film Trishul which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjeev Kumar The movie had a very good opening, but there on didn't live up to the expectations and became a box office failure..
