Mozhi (2007)
Mozhi (, ) is a 2007 Tamil film produced by Prakash Raj and directed by Radha Mohan. Jyothika portrayed the leading character in this movie along with Prithviraj, Prakash Raj and Swarnamalya in pivotal roles. The theme is similar to the Hollywood film Children of a Lesser God and Sweet and Lowdown. Vidyasagar scored the music, whilst Mu. Kasivishwanathan handled the editing and K. V. Guhan worked as the cinmeatographer. The dialogues were written by Viji. Shooting was held at several locations including India and Mauritius. The film was released on 23 February 2007 and emerged a critical and commercial success, despite facing stiff competition from Paruthiveeran at the box-office. The film, notably, was the last film that Jyothika signed up for, as she retired from acting after marriage.
