E.H. Sothern as Macbeth for the 1911 Broadway production Macbeth is a 1911 film adaptation of the William Shakespeare play Macbeth . It is now considered a lost film, as there are no known copies of it in existence today. It is a silent black-and-white film with English intertitles and runs for 14 minutes.
