Maaveeran (1986)
Maaveeran was the first Tamil film to be released with wide high-resolution 70 mm and directed by Rajasekhar. It was a remake of the 1985 superhit Hindi film Mard. Ambika appeared in a glamorous role alongside Rajinikanth. She first comes across as a rude princess, who later falls in love with him.
