Kanna Talli (1953)
Kanna Talli or Kannatalli (English title: Mother; Telugu: కన్నతల్లి) is a 1953 Telugu Drama film directed and produced by K. S. Prakash Rao. It is simultaneously released in Tamil with title Petrathai. G. Varalakshmi played the title role of the Mother (Telugu meaning of Talli). This is the debut film for Telugu popular singer P. Susheela and actress Rajasulochana. The film later made as Blockbuster Hindi film Mother India in 1957.
