Starring, Durval Bellini and Déa Selva, it follows a man who kills his wife soon after their marriage. It was produced between 1931 and 1932 for Adhemar Gonzaga at his studio Cinédia. Initially, it was highly criticized and due to its poor viewership it resulted in financial losses for its company. However, contemporary critics and film directors have expressed praise for it.
