Chenkol (1993)
Chenkol (English: The Sceptre) is a 1993 Malayalam drama film directed by Sibi Malayil and written by A. K. Lohithadas. The film is the sequel to the 1989 film Kireedam. It continues Sethumadhavan's (Mohanlal) story after his prison term and his life back into society. The music for the film was composed by Johnson. It was critically acclaimed and was a commercial success. Lohithadas won the Kerala Film Critics Award for Best Script for that year.
