Cairo Station (1958)
Cairo Station (, translit. Bab el hadid, also known as The Iron Gate) is a 1958 Egyptian drama film directed by Youssef Chahine. It was entered into the 8th Berlin International Film Festival. The film was selected as the Egyptian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 31st Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.
