Bandhanam (1978)

Bandhanam is a 1978 Malayalam film written and directed by M. T. Vasudevan Nair. The film observes a boy's return from city living to the village. The film's mood is sorrowful: the boy cannot shake himself free of the experience of the city and fails to adapt to village life.
