A Morte Comanda o Cangaço is a 1961 Brazilian action film directed by Carlos Coimbra and Walter Guimarães Motta. It was entered into the 11th Berlin International Film Festival. The film was also selected as the Brazilian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 33rd Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.
